Dave Aftandilian I love the rawness and depth of emotion on both sides of this split. Dreinoch’s track feels melancholy yet resigned, like hating to see the leaves fall, but knowing they will be reborn in the spring. Moss Witch brings a bit more rage, but also some lovely hypnotic guitar and keyboards. Listening is like watching two people engaged in battle, feeling their spite, yet also the almost dancelike quality of their moves. (I also get a bit of a Circle of Ouroborus vibe from this track.)

Pauline Zipser A concise split from two up-and-coming outfits. Both of these bands have some magic circulating between those dark tremolo patterns and their gritty fingernails.
